Hi IH, when we started on our journey to build this new feature for hookdeck.com I couldn't find good technical write-ups on how other teams have designed their architecture to throttle the delivery of messages.

For our product, it was essential we allow devs to configure the specific throughput they want to receive their webhooks. Here's our technical deep dive into how specifically we built it. I hope it can serve as inspiration for your own projects!

We create an AWS step function invocation per hook we want to fire. That's been the most effective and most reliable. It's also really easy to set up.
