Technical founder looking for a partner on a small video cutting utility app

Hi,

This is not going to be a big startup, it's just a small project that potentially can fill a need and create some revenue.

I am technical and am looking for someone to partner up with who knows a bit about distribution and SEO. And maybe you have worked with video too?

I mostly want to partner up because it's more fun to work together with someone

(Ps: if you don’t want to read just watch the loom video I made).

Now I found a problem in the video editing space, where it’s hard to batch export multiple clips with applied effects.

This is a problem in DaVinci resolve, Final Cut Pro, PowerDirector, and others. It seems like this is such a niche use case that they don’t want to support it fully. But it’s a very valid use case when making courses or working with a lot of media!

My idea is to make a small utility app specifically aimed at this use case. It can be made to work with any video editing program (or audio editing also, maybe DAWs), so I’m pretty sure it can find a nice problem to fill and stay relevant.

I proof of connected it with DaVinci Resolve and it works well.

Now I’m looking for someone to work with. Partner on this. Mostly because it’s fun to work with people on projects, and also because it’s nice to get some help on distribution from someone who is a bit in the space.

If we find a way to earn money on this it could be a nice little revenue stream. Probably little since it's very niche, but hey, niches are sometimes bigger than you think.
