I'm the founder of Endtest.io.
Most of our customers are really nice people.
We're B2B, some of our customers are large enterprises, others are SMEs.
But there are some situations that go beyond my imagination.
Before being a founder, I never imagined that some large companies have such an unhealthy obsession for saving every last penny.
Some situations I encountered:
A representative from a large company from Germany was asking for a discount of $10 on a package that costs $178 per month.
The CFO of a French company that raised more than $65M was asking for a 20% discount on a plan that costs $178 per month.
A large French company was doing a POC for a few months with a paid account.
They were planning to take a week off, and they wanted to interrupt the subscription, to not get charged for that week, even if we bill them by month.
Again, for a subscription that costs $178 per month.
And even if our Terms of Service clearly mention that we cannot offer refunds.
But folks from that agency were actually using our platform.
Fortunately, these situations occurred with a very small number of customers.
If small companies or nonprofits ask for discounts, we do our best to help them.
But I can't understand why some large companies are so obsessed with saving a few dollars.
Who teaches them to behave like that?
To try to save every penny and to overcharge their own customers, I'd rather live under a bridge than be an executive at one of those companies.
I'd love to hear some of your customer horror stories.
