Too much information, couldn't read anything properly, just closed the page.

Thoughts running through my head:
Scrolling down the page, under "Recommended", I see a media box where the label is "PHONES", the title is "This is why you should have Apps on your PC", and the photo is of an Apple Watch. Very confusing.
I clicked on a MacBook blog post. Scroll past the mega-photo to the content. I look for the date first thing, since it's vital to know the age of tech-related posts. No date. Scroll up to the top. There's a date!, no, it's today's date. I never need today's date on a website, my computer has a clock already. Finally find the date below the title in a tiny font, which becomes tinier and fainter as you scroll.
Great! Thanks for the detailed review of my landing page. Honestly, i agree with you, i need to do some housekeeping.
The past articles were inherited from the previous owner. Some are not relevant, and some were from default demo content of the theme. I will do some cleaning..

Sure, i understand. Will add more laptops. Although we also review phones too. And seems recently, the phone's world is moving faster with newer products daily than laptops.

In one word: Overwhelmed! At first glance, none of the articles seemed newsworthy. All seemed evergreen content for SEO. Maybe I'm not the target :)
Thanks for your honest feedback. I figured i should have content that all sites of this kind have. Especially the evergreen content. Then i work on adding and improving from there on.

I arrive on the site and I notice most news stories have smartphones in lead picture and are about stuff like iPhone or android so I feel a bit confused after clicking "Laptops Guide" link.
Also, as I scroll down I see a big advertisement just below the fold, which turns me off slightly and distracts from reading the content.
Thanks for your feedback. Will review the user experience accordingly. And yes, we review 70% of Laptops and 30% is other tech gadgets like phones, TVs, Cameras, etc.
It's ok and well another "best" xy site that i would never trust to buy from.

That's the thing. Way too many sites doing "SEO" for best xy posts. With no prior experience about the laptop or anything. Writing vague recommendations just to cash out of aff. site.
Amazon just slashed commision for affiliaters and you still stick with them? Interesting and good luck
Thanks. True. That is exactly what i want to do differently. Yes, I may not afford to test the gadgets now. But i have a premium membership to a trusted review site. Which i will be quoting and using their detailed analysis to break down to the readers.
And yes, am still ok with the slashed Amazon rates. This is passive income, coupled with passion. So basically am not working /making a living. But having fun while learning at the same time. But it doesnt mean i dont need profits/returns. That is why i seek advice.
Initially, there was a lot of blue. My eyes were attracted to it. I wasn't sure what I should do.
Then, I settled on the trending section because of the red.
I appreciate the lazy loading of images. That's a nice touch.
As I scrolled down, the Recommended section became sticky and that drew me to it.
Hovering over the images was a little jarring because they moved. However, that may just be me.

Very overwhelmed! A lot of info, not one thing for me to look at because everything demands the same amount of attention. There are also a lot of phone as @hatkyinc also mentioned. As soon as I'm reading an article it looks great tho! So keep it up :)
