💬 Tell Us: Why did you join Indie Hackers?

For me it was two reasons but they are just opposite sides to the same coin...

I joined to learn and get help from people that know more than I do about creating and running an online business. There are so many different aspects to being an indie hacker and it's amazing to be able to learn from people that have already been in your position.

I also joined to give help to people when I can and when I feel I have enough knowledge to do so. Before I signed up I would sometimes read posts and think "I know an answer to this" so decided then to jump on in. I hope I can do this more as I learn different skills.

Great idea! I joined because I wanted to get quality feedback from other developers on my designs. I plan to release some in a month and wanted to warm up to this community first. So far, I've been loving it! 😄

I joined for the support and learning from community

And the occasional lurking 😂

For me, it’s the optimism. Few communities out there are as optimistic as IH is.

Joined the old version, focused on interviews. As a way to have some new ideas to build.

Was basically a lurkers until earlier this year, when I decided to help others, giving back to the community.

I start writing about pre-internet companies, great feedback from friendly people out there. Then, I felt confident to share my story. The best decision ever

Resonated with another founders, made friends and been sharing more stories since then.

Because I liked the design... 🤪

I saw lots of conversations with lots of insight, advice, experience, and resources were taking place.
