Hello no-coders,
I am a newbie for No Code and a senior qa analyst. I would like to know if automating test cases for testing the UI for websites or mobile apps ,desktop apps is possible with no-code tools and which ones should I be focussing on to get started ?
Also would like to know if automation testing of API ,data ( example : verifying if a service brings back expected data , compare data before and after code changes etc ) can be done with no code ?
Any suggestions will be really helpful as I am trying to explore the possibilities of no code in the QA domain ..Thanks much !
Good question, @sara_sp. To be honest it is a pain for nocoders. So easy to improve some small thing in your nocode project, and your clients can get some unexpected errors in different places. It would be nice to have a test coverage. I'm not familiar with something similar nocode tools yet.
hey @AlexGorin .. totally get tht when u say small fixes causing new issues elsewhere ..would like to know from others how is it handled in no code development process...and if test driven approach is taken or is it cumbersome to maintain tests ,create them etc
That is good question @sara_sp. I am honestly not aware of other no-code UI testing tools, but I am building one and its called Automatio.co. Since Automatio have multi purpose, I believe it gonna be perfect for UI testing without writing single line of the code.
It's still under the development and it's under private beta.
hey @kinder .. automatio.co looks cool and interesting to see features like screenshots which can be helpful for failure analysis....hv u built it with no code tools ?
A platform like Automatio is not possible to build with no-code tools brother. At least today and I guess for the next 5-10 years.
It is a no-code tool, but it's built from the scratch using Javascript.
