Test my Chrome extension — it glitches your browser the more tabs you have open
Built a Chrome extension called Split. Would love real feedback before I keep building.
The concept: a Pac-Man style ghost lives on your new tab page and reacts to how many tabs you have open. The worse the mood, the more it glitches your browser — flickering titles, distorted colors, visual chaos. It's annoying on purpose.
It also has actual tab tools: save workspaces, park tabs, hibernate inactive ones, close duplicates.
What I'd love feedback on:
- Does the ghost/glitch concept land or feel gimmicky?
- Is the new tab UI intuitive?
- Anything broken on your machine?
No accounts, no data collection, everything local.

The core idea that stands out here is the feedback loop itself—you’re turning “browser overload” into a visible emotional signal instead of a hidden performance problem. That’s actually more powerful than the tab management features. Most productivity extensions optimize control, but very few experiment with behavioral reflection in real time, which is what makes this concept feel different rather than just another tab organizer.
