Are you in a whatsapp group with mates? I'm building a whatsapp bot to make a celebratory game for birthdays in a group chat! - thoughts??
It's a whatsapp bot
The organiser - fills out a tiny order survey - then the whatsapp bot will reach out to all the group members with some questions. They then respond with voice notes and then on a set date the bot will start sharing everyones notes with each other.
All the questions are lighthearted - and made so that the answers get you to laugh things like:
- favorite memory
- something i've never told you before but I'd regret not telling you if you died
- it's a shame that you
- The only dream you've ever shown up in was when..
- As of right now, if I were to die, I would leave you this in my last will and testament
- I've never asked yo this but always wondered
- funniest memory
The MVP is built and I'm looking for beta testers (free at the moment - prolly $5 a pop when live)
Interesting idea! I know my girlfriend had to record a clip of herself saying 'Happy Birthday' to a friend the other day. This was then manually compiled with lots of other clips as a gift.
I think there could be more value here if it wasn't tied so explicitly to Whatsapp? Video is also a great option to have and perhaps slightly more personal.
I'd be interested in hearing how you get on with beta testing as I'm currently working on a tool which helps navigate this process. Do shout if you'd be interested in a quick 10 min Zoom call to bounce some ideas around :)

I think taking it out of whatsapp actually devalues - it adds so much friction.
The first beta group kicked off yesterday and by being in whatsapp they can continue to comment on what's being shared. It looked hillarious.

Sounds like you know what you're doing re. WhatsApp. I definitely see your point regarding friction. I'd personally be interested in seeing a Facebook messenger version too, as that's where I hang out most. In fact, I do have one WhatsApp group of friends who might be interested.
Yes indeed, currently working on a beta testing tool to validate and develop business ideas. It stems from our work as an accelerator for Deep Tech companies (quantum, life sciences) but we're now shifting our attention to provide a toolset for any new business idea that needs iterative development.
