Thanks for the feedback - we need a few Android testers before launch

First of all, thank you for all the feedback and support on my previous DiscountHub post 🙌

I honestly didn’t expect that many useful comments. A lot of you pointed out the same important thing: in the coupon/deals space, trust matters more than volume.

That feedback makes a lot of sense.

If a user opens a coupon app and sees expired promo codes or dead deals, they probably won’t come back. So we’re taking that seriously. DiscountHub already has a three-layer backend filtering system that keeps promo codes up to date, removes expired offers automatically, and shows the expiration date inside the app.

But after reading your comments, I also realized we should make this trust more visible to users — not just handle it in the backend.

Some ideas we’re now considering:

- showing when a promo code was last verified

- adding user feedback like “worked / didn’t work”

- adding likes or confirmations for deals

- improving the product-deals filter before pushing Android harder

Because of this, we’ve decided to slow down the Android launch a bit instead of rushing it.

We still need more testers for the closed Android test. If anyone here wants to help test DiscountHub, please leave your email in the comments or send it to me privately, and I’ll add you as a tester.

After being added, you should be able to install the app here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uz.discounthub.app

I’d really appreciate honest feedback — especially around trust, expired offers, promo code UX, and whether the app feels useful enough to check before buying something online.

Thanks again. The comments yesterday genuinely helped shape what we should improve next.

Do you think we should focus not only on apps but also on updating the website as a full-fledged product?

      1. 1

i think it depends on what the users interact with the most
