Thanks to Coronavirus in NYC, I had more time to design my UX

Today was my first day of "remote classes" at NYU.

I had a discussion-based lecture at 11am & Spanish class at 12:30...both over Zoom.

So I woke up around 6am to give myself time to record my second video of me building my product in public.

Long story short, I couldn't finish before 11. I kept working while "in class". Video off. Mic off.

I'm working. I'm working. Then my professor breaks us into digital groups to discuss a prompt. I'm like "really?".

I get into my group and we're talking. I kid you not, I felt like I was in a progressing Black Mirror plot. I mentioned how I felt to the group. They all agreed (lol).

Fast forward. Time for my second class. It's Intermediate Spanish. Que bien.

I decided to skip it entirely. Half listening to a lecture while working is one thing. Half listening to instruction in another language while working is literal mental gymnastics.

I continue recording myself. I continually prove to myself how much of a better writer I am than a speaker. But whatever. I already started this journey. Gotta finish what I start.

I finally finish at 4pm EST. And boy am I tired! Editing video is tough. No matter which way you slice it.

Anyway, here's the update to my progress thread on Twitter.

I plan out the essential functions & user flow of my product. And I redesign a hand drawn sketch into a graphic design using Figma.

Hope you enjoy it. I know I enjoy being done with it (lol).

Gotta finish what I start. Gotta finish what I start.

Time to enjoy my day. Hope you have a great one too.

Thanks
