The 0 to 1000MRR in 30 days challenge 💸

Hey IH! I'm Luca, a 19 y/o who loves building cool stuff, and this is my first IH post!

I spent the past 3 months working on a new project, but instead of starting to acquire users for it, I've been procrastinating and adding more - kinda useful - features.

This is why I decided to challenge myself to go from 0 to 💸 $1000MRR in the next 30 days - which means getting 38 customers (at the current $27/mo price point) or about 1.25 new customers per day...

Here are some of the ways I plan on achieving that:

doing outbound marketing (basically cold DMs/emails)
talking about the product a lot more on socials

Even though I spent 3ish years as a marketer at some of the top-performing agencies out there, the above goals/tasks will push me out of my comfort zone unlike anything else I've done so far.

Mentally, the hardest step for me will be going from 0 to 1 subscription. I spent so long working on my own, coding days and nights, and the fear of failing - after having invested this much into it - is paralyzing.

In this situation, I guess action is the way to go lol.

Plus, the product is radically faster and better in most aspects compared to my competitors' BASE plan - which starts from $52/mo...

Which begs the following question: why haven't I launched yet? What am I waiting for?

The truth, once again, is that I'm just scared of the outcome (as embarrassing as it is to admit).

But again, this challenge's goal is to overcome that fear and show myself - and everyone else in my same situation - there's a way out of it.
