We spent 10 months building our dream SaaS. Then we discovered something that we didn't expect.
One piece of feedback could save us from our biggest mistake and we need your help.
For the past 10 months, my friends and I have been pouring our hearts into Slashit App. We've built the tool, launched a public website, and we're finally ready to share it with the world.
But here's the thing: we've noticed something strange. Something we can't unsee. And before we reveal what it is, we need honest feedback from people like you.
We need you to visit our website and tell us:
Check it out here: https://www.slashit.app/
Your feedback could be the $1 million pivot moment for us. Drop your thoughts in the comments—be brutally honest. We can handle it.
For me, except onething everything is conveyed clearly and able to clearly understand the product features.
The call to action at the top that reads 'Save first hour today - Its free'. This sounds confusing. Maybe its just me.
But a more simpler call to action may convert more.
Something like, Start now - Its free. Because you already explained the product features everywhere else Call to action shouldnt create doubts / questions but let the visitor take an action.
Agree on this, it can be Start now - Its free!
Thank you for your valuable feedback. Noted this feedback. We will take care of this.
Hey Mahmud this post is fantastic—congrats on being willing to make that pivot. That clarity and decisiveness are what separate successful founders. It's great to see you sharing the journey.
I came over from a conversion copy angle (I run Quratulain Creatives, specializing in fixing revenue leaks for SaaS founders), and the biggest opportunity I see in this post isn't related to the product itself, but to how you are framing your experience: The Expert Positioning Principle.
The Flaw (Diagnosis): The Humility Gap
Right now, your narrative is focused on the process (the 1-million dollar pivot, the hard work). While compelling, the user's brain is asking: "Why should I trust you with my money?" You are selling the story of the grind, but you need to be selling the authority gained from the grind.
You've successfully solved a massive business problem (a failed project) and turned it into an insight, but your copy doesn't fully leverage that expertise. This is a missed chance to establish yourself as an authority who has already navigated and survived failure.
The High-Value Fix (Reciprocity Trigger):
To convert your story into a strategic asset that attracts high-value users, you need to turn the pivot into a guarantee of your expertise.
This simple shift uses Frame Control to transform a story of failure into a powerful story of costly, proven expertise. This is how you attract clients who value results over effort.
Hope this high-leverage idea helps you capture more conversions! Keep building!

I love the idea of the product, and you did nice work on the design too. All the best!
