Last year over 500 indie hackers competed, collaborated, and challenged each other to reach an audacious goal: get 100 new paying users in 100 days.

Later today we're kicking off round 2 of this epic growth challenge and it's not too late for your to join the fray.

The challenge is free and to be clear IT'S OKAY IF YOU DON'T GET TO 100 USERS.

The goal of this challenge is to motivate you to push yourself, learn to market, and get more customers.

Getting to exactly 100 users over the next 100 days is really just an (amazing) bonus.

We'll support you the whole way through and we'll all be learning new things together.

    Hope to see you there!

It's so cool to see so many founders signing on. This is going to be a great challenge.

Did you see the event calendar we just published for the 100 in 100 challenge?

    2. 1

Do you know how many of those 500 succeeded?

      1. 1

About 9 founders made it to 100 users over 100 days.

You can check out the full leaderboard from last year here:

    1. 1

      It's still on!

We are currently on day 3, but a lot of people are still signing up.

I joined in! Super excited to participate :) Thanks for putting this together.

I will be working on Caproni, a podcast publishing platform for busy entrepreneurs.

    1. 2

      Welcome to the challenge Gabriel!

Was great seeing you at the kickoff event yesterday.

Can't wait to watch Caproni zoom to the top of the leaderboard.

  4. 3

love it! can't believe I just discovered this. submitted baryl.io - happy hunting (for customers)!

    1. 3

Hey Eric, slightly off-topic 😅 Just checked out Baryl — it’s just what I’ve been looking for! I hate having to plan trips myself and I’m interested to try it out. But when I tried to find terms & conditions etc, I found that the links in the footer are broken and just link to #. Are you still in the middle of adding them?

      1. 3

hey! yes, we're still adding them in! but the service itself is ready to use whenever :)

    2. 1

Nice! Welcome to the challenge Eric. I just followed you on Twitter https://twitter.com/AnthonyCastrio

  5. 2

It's Great! I just joined this challenge, although we are not completely ready - but our products are relatively mature. Next, we need to continue to work hard to improve the website.

    1. 1

      Welcome to the challenge Don!

  6. 2

Couldn't be better timing - I am signing up now. We are also in beta but are working towards a similar but slightly more ambitious goal (basically in less time) so I can't wait to be surrounded by others working towards a similar goal. We got this!!

  7. 2

I'm in! Working on the beta version now, and hopefully, we could reach 100 paying users 100 days later! So excited!

    1. 1

Welcome to the challenge Josie 💯

See you at the meetup tomorrow?

    This is great
Helping people achieve more. I would love to participate but I don't have my product ready yet
How do I go about this?

    1. 1

Get your product ready to sell :D

      • simplify your offering
      • add Stripe checkout
      • start marketing
  9. 2

This idea is awesome! We will be participating with www.nwebdesign.com.br , a small wix webdesign and velo programming agency. We are looking for a fresh air and we have launched our first professional template:
    https://nwebdesign.gumroad.com/l/nweb-tamplate-01
It will be a pleasure to participate. :)

      Welcome to the challenge Adrian!

    1. 1

      Welcome to the challenge!

  11. 2

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars.”

I think this can be amazing challenge for founders to put themselves out of their comfort zone. Would be amazing if they also document their experience and publish it here/ on your site.

    1. 1

I was thinking a daily podcast might be cool, interview someone from the challenge every day and share their stores in a tight 10 minute format.

      What do you think?

  12. 2

I’m happy to participate with Eventioner.com

    1. 1

I'm happy that you're participating too Goncalo!

Did you see the event schedule we just published?

      https://indieworldwide.co/100-in-100-events-round-2

  13. 2

I would love to submit fabform.io to this in the future, but I have decided to offer our static website forms backend for free to get some traction first.

Looks like a great idea though. Best of luck everyone!

  14. 2

Im in! This community is awesome. Thank you for organizing this! Working on building cartta.io in public!

    1. 1

Welcome to the challenge Franco, see you on the leaderboard :D

  15. 2

Awesome idea! We have more than 500 paying customers though, so I won't be able to participate, but love the idea and inspiration it gives.

    1. 1

Have you considered sponsoring the challenge Alex?

Would love to onboard you if you're interested, we've got discounted sponsorship opportunities for bootstrapped companies who want to support other bootstrappers.

This is amazing! Some of the WBE members have enrolled and I am looking forward to seeing the results. I have made a step-by-step guide that I believe will help the participants to better organize their work and have higher chances of success.

Hello Anthony! If you have the time please check out Churnfree.com and let me know how you think I should go about searching for my first 100 users. Thanks!

Hey stutterbug, I recommend checking out the content over at https://wizenguides.com/, we've got strategy guides covering all kinds of growth strategies.

We're in with GorillaCMS (Headless WordPress Easy Peasy for Fronted Developers).

I think we are the only startup in latam for now (Argentina!). Next week the website will be in English and we will focus on a global market from the USA.

Thank you for this great initiative!

  20. 1

I really would love to partecipate, but I'm still in the process of creating a launch product for my service.

I'm a software developer and I'm splitting my time beetwen Coding and Marketing, I'm alternating 1 week of product development and one week of product "sponsorization"

for anyone who would like to elaborate on, I'm creating a service on Solana to centralize transaction cost in order to make any dapp free to use.
The purpose is to let the final user not pay for rent cost or transaction fees.

Any feedback / thoughts on my launch page would be much appreciated https://cowsigner.com

I am in. I have built a light weight hiring pipeline management tool using Google Sheets.
    It supports:

Sending Google Meet enabled interview invites
Sending updates to candidates (rejection/waitlist/confirmation) in the process
It uses a Google Form to receive candidate information that they fill on job page.
