It's peculiar how this began. My friend was starting to date again, and I wanted to ensure she didn't make the same mistakes she had made in her previous relationships.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that almost every project I had done, from complex infrastructure rollouts to VoIP cutovers, had been successful, but not without hiccups. Those projects were successful because I had a charter, a scope, a plan, milestones, tasks, risk mitigation, and sprints, as well as a team. I realized that we take work far more seriously than our lives. We should have a plan for the most important thing in our lives, which are our relationships.
Creating an app was not on my bingo card when I started working on project charter PDFs for relationships. But here we are. It is still early, and I am still impatient to get this app in front of people. If there is anything in your life that you would like to project manage, what would it be?
