The AI that actually knows you

Hey IndieHackers! 👋 I built Kami because I was tired of explaining myself to AI every single day. Every AI resets. Every conversation starts from scratch. You tell it your name, your job, your context, and tomorrow it has no idea who you are. That's not a companion. That's a search engine with a personality. Kami is different. It uses a 7-layer cognitive memory architecture (inspired by ACT-R human memory research) to remember everything, not just facts, but emotional context, causal relationships, and patterns in how you think. It tracks your emotional state across sessions and adapts its tone accordingly. The hard part: it does all of this 100% on your device using WebGPU. No API calls(Except from STT only if you like to). No cloud. No subscription required. Your conversations never leave your browser. Try it at mykami.in, works on Chrome, Edge, and Opera. The model (~2GB) downloads once and runs locally forever. Would love your feedback on what memory features matter most to you. What would make an AI feel like it actually knows you?
