Regardless, you should give it a try. Not many people saw my post, and not all of them will launch on PH.
It doesn't always work.
Last month, 2 or 3 products of products I hunted weren't featured. We made every effort (including what you have suggested in this post) to contact PH support, but all we received was a response like this:
"Unfortunately, not everything can be featured on the homepage, which is the case with this post. Product Hunt has the right to curate our homepage and there's no guarantee that a post will be featured."
Shrug...
Thank you for sharing! I discussed it with people who successfully did it. However, this doesn't mean that the method works for 100% of hunters. At least, we should try it if our product hasn't been 'featured'.
Please do share: time of email (at 12:01 am PT, day before?) and what else to include in the email? Thanks!
