The app for AWS Console!
Hello guys,
If you are here, you may have noticed the same problem as me. The AWS console mobile app is very disappointing, it can do practically nothing. Working on my side projects I have urgently needed to access the console and I had to do it from the mobile browser (zoom, zoom and more zoom).
I am working on a new project to try to solve it.
The project is AWS Station and you can create/update new DyanmoDB items, upload/delete files from S3, also we are working on a cool functionality called Actions and Shortcuts (like the iOS) where you have a list of Actions to use in a Shortcuts and also you can create a new ones.

I definitely have the same problem! Will you be able to keep this up to date with the massive feature set? Or are you parsing the CLI into functions somehow?
hi @JesperBylund, well our plan is to offer a tiny console in a App with a basic functionality of the most common services, but also we are working on a cool functionality called Actions and Shortcuts (like the iOS) where you have a list of Actions to use in a Shortcuts and also you can create a new ones.

Yes, that sounds freaking spectacular. My usecase is very seldomly checking on something or making a small change, but being able to do that is really interesting.

I don't know if it already have it, but I would like to have Push Notification for CloudWatch alerts (sometimes I miss those emails).
And some kind of friendly CLI. I mean some autocomplete/suggestion commands with a short documentation. And a manager for those commands (save/copy), for maintenance or repetitive procedure, no like full automation but little scripts. Even, you can make a list of good practices (sort by service) for new users.
I would also like to know more on the website. Maybe a list of features for each AWS service.

Neat idea! Security is my first biggest concern, some details about the IAM permissions your app requires would be good, as well as details on how someone might use CloudTrail to ensure you're only doing what you say you're doing.
hi tyler, yep, good point we are ask you for an AccessKey and SecretKey with the permission for the services that you whant to manage from the AWS Station.
I had not thought about that but it is a good idea to show in some way that we are doing with that user what we say, as you say cloudtrail is an option, we have to think about how to provide it.
