The best names get a reaction and evoke emotions. They are a signal that a company, product, or service is worth paying attention to.
A great name will help people trust, remember, connect with and love your startup.

Different names evoke different emotions. Would you rather pay "estate tax" or "death tax"? Protect your bike with "Kryptonite" or "Abus"? Invest with "Robin hood" or "Cabbage"? Be an "employee or "team member"? I thought so, we can move on.

   Rotten tomatoes have been the weapon of choice to chase away bad performers since 1883.
   Throwing rotten tomatoes at actors is unacceptable today but we have an online equivalent for movies.

2. Understood (blog for people with ADHD).
   My heart melted when I saw this name in the results of a Google search.
   It's a great name because it highlights how people with ADHD want to feel.
   People with ADHD are often called lazy, inattentive and careless but it's not their fault alot of the time.
   It feels great when you find someone that understands.

3. Dave (digital banking service).
   Their slogan is "banking for humans", so they choose the most common human name to help them stand out from the competition.

4. Mosquito (anti teenager security device).
   The aptly named device sends out an irritating ultrasound that only young adults and teenagers can hear.
   After a while the find becomes so annoying that they leave the area.

5. Kryptonite (Bike locks).
   A Kryptonite lock is every bike thieves weakness. Even super man is scared of them.

6. Liquid Death (canned water company).
   This name does a great job of getting a reaction (mostly WTF). If you're walking around a bar with a liquid Death it's going to start conversations. No other water brand does this.
   The name does a lot of marketing for them.
