"I was trying to get better with women because being bad with women is depressing. There was a guy that lived just down the street from me and we went out all the time together. We'd sort of give each other feedback and debrief at the end of the night. About a year in, we did a boot camp on how to get girls, and not long after that, we actually started working for that company. I was basically teaching confidence. I got out eventually because I realized that most people who stay in that community end up super creepy. But the stuff I learned has carried over to my business. A lot of guys are bad with women because in their minds it's just not even possible for them to find someone. The same is true for entrepreneurs. Many aren't as successful as they could be because they just don't believe that they're the kind of person that could make that much money. That's the biggest thing — believing. That, and repetition. Getting shot down over and over destroys your attachment to the outcome, and that changes the way you act. It makes you less needy, which is important in sales. Of course, if every sales call is going wrong, then you might need to take a step back and analyze what's going on."⠀
