The blank canvas is the reason most people never make carousels

Carousels get saved and shared more than almost anything else on LinkedIn or Instagram. Most people still do not make them, and the reason is not the writing. It is opening a design tool, staring at an empty artboard, and deciding that today is not the day.

SwipeThread starts from a topic instead of a canvas. It researches the subject, writes each slide with cited stats, and lays the deck out using a brand kit imported from any URL, so the colours, fonts, and logo are already yours. You can also start from something you have: paste an X thread, a blog post, a PDF, or plain notes, and get slides back.

Two things I got wrong early and had to change.

I assumed people wanted more control over layout. They mostly did not. They wanted fewer decisions and a result that looked like their brand without configuring anything. Adding options made the tool worse.

I also assumed the team plan should be per seat, because that is what everyone does. It made the product worse for exactly the teams it was meant for, since the person who needs to invite a freelancer for one project just does not. Studio is now flat at 20 dollars a month with unlimited members sharing one daily allowance.

Free plan is 3 carousels a day if you want to see what it produces before paying anything.
