Hi IH parents!
As a father of two, I like to read about hacks, tricks on how effectively balance between work and family. Also, I like to listen to podcasts but couldn't find much about parenting and indie hacking.
Recently I found a podcast on topic - https://businessdad.initialized.com
And I like it!
Cool must check this out. On a similar vain https://thestartupchat.com/ep428/
Also a good one, thanks!
I don't have a specific podcast in mind, but, I've actually been finding a lot of motivation from a couple of slightly different communities.
My wife , kids and I have been watching lots of youtube videos about families that have sold their houses and live on the road. We seem to especially like the ones were they convert old busses or vans. Interesting to see what people come up with!
Anyway, it is an interesting overlap because a lot of those folks have remote technology jobs as web developers, designs, etc... and have lots of hacks about raising children in a non traditional situation.
Also, we starting home schooling this year and that has made me rethink a lot of things. For example, we've incorporated more technology into their curriculum which I have started to further supplement by getting them involved in my product . Video editing, web design, etc....
So that is another kind of adjacent community to draw inspiration from.
I've mostly been listening to IH and Software Engineering Daily podcasts lately but if find any good podcasts related to this subject I will post them here.
Do you know other podcasts on the topic? Please share.
