Naming inspired by the Mom Test.
How to design your UX/UI so that it can take the user from A to B?
Put yourself in a busy dad's shoes - you sat down in front of your computer and know (or expect) that the kids will wake up crying in less than 5 minutes. Go get me from A to B, and convert into a paying customer in less than that.
Confuse me, and I'll go.
Make it too difficult, and I'll go.
Put too much text to read, I'll go.
That's pretty much me after I sit down in the evening in front of my laptop.
Ladies and gents: I'd like to call it "The Busy Dad Test".
People are so busy! I think so many people "know" this yet so many people forget to apply it, including myself.
The name is a good name, especially because of the specificity. Because it makes you think/realize, if someone isn't a Dad, this becomes The Busy Employee Test, or The Busy College Student Test or The Busy Teenager Test (too busy playing Fortnite or watching Tiktok).
I felt this a few days ago while looking at some thoughtful articles about popular technologies, like Blockchain. They start with 5 pages of "intro". I can't read a 5 page intro. I'll scroll to find the "treasure" but then maybe I'll just take the title unfortunately.
