The call for [Profitable MVP in 30 Days Challenge] - $1000 and 30 blog posts

Hi Indie Hackers 😀

One month ago, I challenged myself to join this challenge. The main intention is forgetting about the COVID-19 effects (reduce worriment and reading fake/bad news, focus on the important thing, etc ).

In this challenge, I have to create a profitable MVP in 30 days and write a blog post every day to sum up what I did in that day.

The revenue goal is $1000.

Today is the day #30. In one month, I created and launched 3 products:

I wrote 30 blog posts, however, they are in Vietnamese. If you're curious what I wrote, you can you use translate tool. Here is the blog series

99% I will fail this challenge. I have earned ~$25 for far and I only have 18h left. 😅

So I challenge you, Indie Hackers, to join this challenge with me 💪

Please use hashtag #ProfitableMVP when you share your work on the social network

The first $1000 is really hard. If you have $1000 ARR, scaling up to 100k ARR is pretty easy by just pumping more ads and reaching more customers, because you've shown that it solves a problem people have and they'd pay to make it go away.

Finding that product market fit is a whole different ballgame though.

I'm just coming to terms that the last 2 months of building the MVP and trying to validate it, people don't want to use it (buying is a different thing). It doesn't solve a real problem yet.

I have to go back to the drawing board and try a different pivot.

Agree. I hope you succeed with your next project
