The Daily Gigle - edition #1

Thank you for signing up to Gigle, the “Google” for gigs! 🙌

I started working on this idea a few weeks ago as a side project. Since then, I’ve received an incredible amount of support and interest in it which is amazing but also, nerve wracking 😅 I’m hard at work on the first MVP and hope to be able to share it with you soon.

In the meantime, I’d love to hear from you! I really want to make sure I’m making something useful, and need your input to do that. If you have 2 minutes, please fill out the survey below. I will be forever grateful 🌟

Finally, I wanted to share some fantastic resources for new freelancers who are just getting started in their freelance career. Matt Olpinski is a UI/UX designer & web developer who turned years of freelancing into a full-time career, and recently into his own company. He’s published a great article for those of you who may be considering a switch from having a full-time job to freelancing, with 7 tips for how to make that transition as smooth as possible.

I highly recommend that and the many other helpful articles about freelancing that Matt’s written and published on his site. (Thanks, Matt!)

Stay tuned to this newsletter for more tips from experienced freelancers, and the lessons they learned on their journey to finding success. Plus, I’ll be sharing ongoing updates on how my work on Gigle is coming along.

Thanks for reading and for being part of this journey!
