The death of the Instagram feed?

Have you found yourself scrolling through the Instagram feed and stories lately, asking 'What in the world am I seeing?'.

I'm not much of a social media user myself, but after a friend of mine told me 'I'm not really using Instagram anymore, it's just ads and suggested posts', I started paying a bit more attention to what came up in my startup's profile feed (I don't have a personal profile), and it is absolutely insane: It's actually just ads (an awful amount of ads) and suggested posts, the ads to stories ratio is something like 2:3. The experience of using the app is so bad I can't even describe it.

Question is, when is this all going to backfire on them? The ads are progressively going to scare users away, and all the companies paying for them will also end up understanding how bad these ads are perceived because of Instagram's whole user experience.

I've wondered this question myself. Instagram ads, I've found, are actually pretty well targeted towards me. I once was scrolling through my Instagram, and saw an advertisement for a product that I ended up really enjoying. It's rare I'm on Instagram, or buying anything on it, but they're well targeted. My guess is most people tune them out, and they aren't bothered by them enough to mobilize against them.

If I was a betting man, I'd say that the Insta feed will be just fine. There are still a lot of people having good success paying influencers for sponsored posts, and I don't expect its going away anytime soon.

Sadly, can't say the same on the ads quality. I get the most random, sometimes even very weird, stuff. But this isn't about quality really, it's strictly related to the clearly exaggerated amount of ads they're displaying lately.
On another note, I have no problems at all with influencers sponsored posts, that's actually the main marketing method I use for my products, and the way Instagram is trying to push reels (I wonder why...) really helps.

Great, I haven't notices these thing and haven't planned just like this. Now I will surely apply these tips so that we could grow https://wedoapk.com/pk-xd-mod-apk/ . As we are just talking and not doing proper work because we don't have proper management system. From your comment I learned alot thanks.

Yeah what you're saying is true. Awfully amount of ads, the ratio of ad by story in mine is 1 story 1 ad. Its just dumb.

But, I dont see suggested post in my instagram, idk why.

Suggested are less annoying anyway, even if it's still weird to see them in your normal feed, since they usually have their own section after the 'You've completely caught up' screen

Yeah there's no doubt that the network itself has got worse for organic content. Though the ads have got better.

It's all really relative too. Some of our clients are still making huge returns from this massive active network of women still on Facebook. They still love it there with the classic news feed and stories and groups.

Whereas barely a single person in my social group still uses Facebook even slightly.

Yup I'm sure Facebook still works great for the ads, considering the people who use it the most lately. I kind of feel bad though, because there are a ton of scam ads (sort of grey-hat, not to be blocked right away), that take advantage of those people.

There are some of those but i'd say most are legit by quite a margin. and lots of good small good businesses managing to get profitable too thanks to it all :)
