The DM back-and-forth is where bookings go to die

Booking a facialist, massage therapist or dermatologist still means finding them on social, sending a DM, waiting a day, then six more messages to land a time. I kept watching that loop kill the booking on both sides: the client gives up and books nobody, the pro loses revenue while their hands are busy with another client.

OpenMyPro is the fix I wanted to exist: a directory of verified wellness, beauty and health pros showing real availability, so you just pick a slot and book. Pros get an always-on booking page that converts while they work instead of a DM inbox that punishes them for being good at their actual job.

Building it solo from Austin. The honest hard part has not been the software, it is the chicken-and-egg of a two-sided marketplace, and the unglamorous answer is seeding both sides city by city.

If you have launched a marketplace: what actually got your supply side moving first? Cold outreach, a niche community, or something I have not tried yet?
