A couple years ago I took some time to study the 🎵 Spotify model for scaling agile work 📚
One of the ideas that stuck with me is the 🚀 Entrepreneur & 🎓 Professor leadership model.
People in a team need guidance all the time on the what and the how. This creates a healthy conflict, because you want to keep balance 🧘 between pushing to deliver and building technical excellence.
But this stays healthy only as long as you have separate people championing each of these qualities.
I wrote more about it in this week's issue of Refactoring 👉 https://refactoring.fm/p/the-entrepreneur-and-the-professor
What's your experience with this kind of responsibilities in your team? Is it standard to you to have such separation? I have to say, at my startup we didn't get it right at first, and we struggled a bit 😅
