Buzzwords and the latest trends hurt the software industry.

As everyone is talking about these things wherever we turned up, we fall into the trap and keep getting the feeling that we are always falling behind.

Yeah, I agree that we need to keep ourselves updated, but that doesn't mean we need to ignore the things we know earlier. Also, there is no need to use them in our projects to catch up with "The Trend" unless there is a business requirement that demands its usage.
