When I started building YouTube M, I thought organizing channels into folders would be the killer feature. It seemed so obvious - just drag and drop channels into categories.
But after using it myself for a few weeks, something else became way more valuable: the cross-channel search.
Here's why: When you're subscribed to 500+ channels, you often remember watching something but can't remember which channel posted it. "That video about Python decorators... was it from Corey Schafer? Or Arjan Codes? Or maybe Tech With Tim?"
With cross-channel search, you just type "python decorators" and it searches across ALL your subscriptions at once. No more opening 10 different channel pages.
Building it wasn't hard technically, but I almost didn't include it. Glad I did.
Anyone else find that their "secondary" features ended up being more useful than the main ones?
Happy holidays everyone!
