Hey guys,
My name is Muhammed Bilal, and I am the Co-founder and AI Engineer at KortexMail. I am writing to share an update on our progress as we work to redefine how professionals interact with their daily communications.
We are building the first context-aware and priority-focused inbox. The current standard of email management relies heavily on static rules and manual folder categorization, which often fails to adapt to the dynamic nature of professional work. At KortexMail, our goal is to move beyond simple filtering. We are developing an intelligent system designed to genuinely understand your workflow, anticipate your needs, and surface the most critical information first.
I am pleased to share that we have successfully concluded Phase 1 of our beta program. During this initial stage, we restricted our integration exclusively to Gmail. This allowed us to tightly monitor performance, refine our artificial intelligence models based on real-world usage, and ensure our core categorization engine was operating effectively. The feedback from our early users has been instrumental in validating our approach.
We are now actively preparing for the launch of Phase 2. A major focus for this next stage is expanding our compatibility. In Phase 2, we will be introducing full integration for custom company domain emails—a critical requirement for the professionals we aim to serve. Alongside this, we will be rolling out several new, advanced features designed to give users even greater control over their productivity and inbox organization.
If you would like to follow our progress or join the waitlist for Phase 2, you can visit us at KortexMail.com
As we approach this next milestone, I would value the perspective of the builders and professionals in this community. Understanding how you currently interact with your inbox helps us build a more effective solution.
What is the most significant pain point you currently experience when managing your daily email communications?
I look forward to reading your insights and discussing them in the comments below.
Phase 1 completion is a huge milestone. Moving into custom company domains is where the real 'context' challenge begins, especially with different corporate cultures and workflows.
Since you're using this transition to Phase 2 as your big push for professionals, you should put KortexMail into the Validation Arena (tokyolore.com).
It’s a $19 sprint for founders.
The winner of the sprint gets a trip to Tokyo.
The prize pool is just opening up at $0, so it's the best time to join the leaderboard.
Really like the direction here — moving from static rules to context-aware prioritization feels like the real unlock. Most inbox tools organize better, but don’t actually reduce decision fatigue.
For me, the biggest pain point is mental overhead — not just volume, but constantly deciding what matters vs what can wait. Even with filters, I still end up scanning everything because I don’t fully trust the system.
If KortexMail can get to a point where users trust that the important stuff is always surfaced correctly, that’s a huge win. Feels like accuracy + explainability will matter a lot here.
Also sharing something I’m building in parallel — You have an idea. $19 puts it in a real competition. Winner gets a Tokyo trip (flights + hotel booked, minimum $500 guaranteed). Round just opened, so best odds right now: tokyolore.com
I like the energy and wish you good luck in what you are building, and yes, we are building the first context-aware email platform, it understands the user very deeply and take actions on it. We are building something that actually solves email overload instead of just creating more filters or folders. You should sign up for phase 2. We will be giving amazing deals and pre-features to beta users after launching.
Congrats on completing Phase 1! The jump from static rules to context-aware prioritization is exactly what email needs. Curious about how you handle the cold start problem.
Good Question. When a new user joins, we guide them through a targeted onboarding process where they answer specific questions to establish their immediate priorities. We then combine these answers with an understanding of the user's specific professional role and daily workflow.
This approach provides the AI with a highly accurate initial framework. It ensures the inbox is genuinely useful from day one, while the system continuously learns and fine-tunes itself based on its ongoing interactions.
And in the future, we will be advancing this by syncing and analyzing users' past mails.
Does this clear your question?
