The first versione of sweet is born in 2018 as side project.

At the end of 2021 I left my full time job for various reasons, and in 2022 I've started the new version of Sweet again from scratch for my first customer.

So for the first year I've done programming for agencies, making other jobs for cash and continuing coding for sweet in bootstraping.

In 2023, I've get a second customer, and so on. Now, I've 10 paying customers in Italy. Almost this customers are getting via SEO and word of mouth.

Meanwhile, I'm building a community of Supply Chain Consultant with a website I've cofounded (https://www.gazzettalogistica.it) and making videos on youtube about supply chain.

We are visiting italian trade fairs about supply chain for stay up to date with trends.

The first 3 years I was full of work: coding, asking customers, making other jobs for cash (consultant, teaching, other...) , family, moving city, etc..

In the last year, I've removed many hours of work from coding, with the help of AI. It costs me some €uros for months, but saved my work life balances.

So I'm working on a seo plugin for mantaining my websites:

https://logisticait.com/

https://gazzettalogistica.it/

https://gestionalemagazzino.com/

https://www.gestionalelogistica.it/

I'm trying to get customers from SEO without spending a lot on ADS, and trying to build a new Saas to make deal. For now it is only a side project that creates automatically articles on websites and post on linkedin, IG, FB.

This is my first chapter, maybe I will write more about SWEET.

Thanks for reading

Getting to 10 paying Italian customers while bootstrapping since 2018 is the part that stood out. The fact that most came through word of mouth and organic traffic makes the €2.5K/mo feel especially real.

It also feels like SWEET could be pulling a lot more organic traffic than it probably is right now, especially with such a specific Italian warehouse niche and all the supply-chain material you’re already building around it.

Have you ever looked at how much bigger the demand for this could actually be?

Hi Muhammad, I did not checked the number of demand.

The progression from one customer in 2022 to 10 paying customers through SEO and word of mouth is the part I found most interesting. That’s a very different story from a typical “launched my SaaS” post.
