I have had a lot of "opportunities" to send follow up emails.
Here are the 3 templates that have always (almost!) worked for me.
Subject: Here’s what you don’t know about <name of your company>
Hi <Prospect’s name>
I am writing to follow up on the last email sent to you about <product name> could be a perfect fit for your business.
Our clients have reported a significant increase in sales by using it. We also offer <mention the offer>
If you would like to hear about this in more detail, please let me know.
I would be happy to connect with you and tell you everything you need to know.
Regards,
Name.
Subject: Can you help me in finding the right person?
Hi <name of the prospect>,
I reached out to you a few days ago about <product/service> and it struck me afterward that I may have missed the mark.
Are you the right person to talk to about this? If not, could you please tell me who I should contact?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Name.
Subject: Still hoping to connect
Hi <Prospect’s name>
I’m sorry we haven’t been able to connect recently. The last time we spoke, you seemed quite interested in <Product or Solution>
I realize that you’re incredibly busy. I’d be happy to schedule a call at a time that works for you – even if it falls outside of office hours.
I don’t mean to bother you but would appreciate some indication of your decision either way.
Thank you.

Thanks for sharing Emma, this took me months and I still think its something that will be subject to continuous improvement😂
I have even tried with provocative statments, so we run a blog writing company, and if people don't respond, we often follow up with something like "Do you still want to optimise your blog?" Its kind of a confrontational 😂 but it seems to be effective in getting responses. Not sure we'll have it as a consistent part of our marketing strategy
I can easily relate. I had to go through a lot of trial and error to find the follow-up email templates that worked best for me.
Keep hustling!
