The Gift Ideas Tool Is Out, and I Love It

AI told me an event QR generator was a better build as a lead generator for Wallble, but I always wanted to build this free tool, so I did.

It's simply a 3-question quiz that gives you gift ideas. Of course I built it with AI, but I manually reviewed every item and fine-tuned the suggestions.

The first counter-argument is obvious: can't I just ask the agent directly? You definitely can, but here are a few reasons this is still a valid build:

People Still Search Google
A lot of people still search Google and Wallble is getting many leads from there (and Bing!). I know AI is advancing and such a tool may become obsolete, but remember, this is not my core service, just a little tool.

Gut Feeling
Please don't underestimate this. Gut feelings are real. When I talked about losing my entrepreneurial innocence earlier, this was part of it: after some experience in the field, I started trusting my gut less and following "entrepreneurial standards" more. This may be why some entrepreneurs feel their second ventures are boring and harder. They try to follow a curriculum.

Human-Tuned AI Responses
For this tool and others, I feel a golden opportunity these days is to take an AI prompt that you find useful (e.g. what gift should I buy for X? what car should I buy?) and build a small tool around it, but with human-reviewed and fine-tuned questions and answers.

AI agents are still not mature enough, and if users find your tool gives them what they need better than asking an agent directly, they will keep coming back. That's exactly what happened with a brand name AI tool I use myself.

Final thoughts: I didn't expect this, but the gift ideas the agent generated included some genuinely unique picks, and I really loved that.
