I realise now, I really enjoyed the building phase. Now comes the hardest part: finding customers.
The space I've picked is crowded. But I believe I have a wedge, and after spending a good amount of time working it out, I finally have a clear picture of exactly who my customers are. Now I can go after them with SEO and direct outreach.
It'll be interesting to see how it goes. Like most things in life, I expect it to feel slow and difficult at first. But the journey is half the battle — it'll teach me what I need to refine my strategy as I go.
For now, I've started with a simple checklist:
Who feels the pain in this space?
What can I do to help them?
How do I articulate that to them?
How do I reach them?
If I can work through this repeatedly and keep showing up, eventually one will bite. Then more.
Wish me luck, and any advice is genuinely welcome. Feel free to give my product a go too. There's a free trial, no obligation.
