The hardest part of app launches was not the app

i kept treating app store screenshots like a design task, but the real bottleneck was iteration speed. after enough launches, i realized the problem was not making the screenshots look nice once. it was making them easy to revise until the story was clear. that is what pushed me to build appkit. curious how other founders handle screenshot copy and layout?

Same lesson from an Android utility angle: screenshots are positioning, not decoration. With Kinetic Override, showing the exact first success path matters more than generic feature bullets — record taps/swipes, replay a loop, adjust timing, and make local/no-ads obvious.
