The impossible tradeoff that all startups must make: betting on now vs. betting on the future

I didn’t care for the article. I found it to be more intellectual than practical. I thought that the analogy to theoretical physics is gimmicky and self-indulgent, too “article-y”.

I’m sorry to be so negative but I didn’t find it useful.

Applying the uncertainty principle to startups is really interesting. I'd say user feedback is critical to try and get around this. Essentially, focus on what the customer thinks you should focus on coupled with your own behind-the-scenes knowledge, and you can't go wrong : )

Great article! It highlights just how many decisions there are to make when running a startup and which ones you focus your attention on could be what makes or breaks your business.
