The Internet Doesn't Have a Brand Thesaurus so I decided to Make One!
Quick question: What do you get when you combine brand with thesaurus?

Lately my main startup has been pivoting from game development into helping other startups, small businesses, and influencers with managing their brand.
The other day I was exploring Google looking for a website that detailed other brand's visuals and how they position their brand.
After a few hours of research I couldn't find what I was looking for...
SO I decided to roll up my sleeves and create a version for the rest of the internet.
And (drumroll please)...
After talk to one of my cofounders the idea for Brandesaurus was born!
But mind you this story only started over the last 2 days!
So how did we build the above website so quick?
We decided to use Webflow to launch a coming soon page.
The reason we decided to use Webflow is so that we can "easily" add a lot of brands with out doing a lot of manual web dev (pretty much as easy as designing the pages, manually or automatically scraping data, and then uploading the CVS to Webflow)
So far we've been loving Webflow as a modern website editor.
We've already grabbed a good amount of brand data from online and plan to launch the website towards the end of the month.
We decided to launch a coming soon page to understand how valuable others think the idea might be. We plan to market and upgrade the coming soon, launch an alpha version of the site by the end of the month then see where Brandesaurus goes from there.
Our primary goal is to use this to test creating tools for inbound marketing.

well, a few months ago my company was in the middle of redefining its branding, and we kept looking at competitors to see what colors they used in their logos for instance. This would have been helpful back then!
