The job hunt sucks. I made something to change that.

I built Jobfluence because I was tired of watching smart, qualified people get ignored in the black hole of online applications. Most great roles aren’t even posted—so I figured, what if job seekers could start the conversation instead of waiting for permission?

Jobfluence lets you create a profile once, and it quietly works in the background, sending out personalized messages to employers who might actually care. No more resume roulette.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in the job search grind, I’d love your thoughts. Feedback, questions, brutal honesty—all welcome. 🙏

Appreciate the fresh take on job searching. Flipping the script—from waiting to initiating—makes a lot of sense, especially in today’s market. Thanks.

Thank you! That’s exactly the energy we’re going for—helping people stop waiting around and start creating their own opportunities. The market’s too unpredictable to rely on traditional job boards alone. Appreciate the support, and excited to see more people flipping the script with us!

I really like what you're doing here. Unless you are from a target school getting a job in finance or other competitive fields is extremely difficult. I am building something in the space as I feel there is a gap that needs to be filled.

Appreciate that and totally agree. The traditional job market feels rigged unless you have the “right” pedigree or network, especially in fields like finance. That’s exactly the gap we’re trying to fill with Jobfluence—helping people create their own opportunities by automating the outreach process and getting in front of decision-makers directly. Would love to hear more about what you’re building! Always great to connect with others working to level the playing field.

Congratulations on launch! How has user acquisition been going?

Thank you! We’re in the early stages, so user acquisition is still scrappy but promising. We're seeing solid interest from job seekers who are tired of applying into black holes and want a more proactive, automated way to get noticed. Most of our initial users have come through LinkedIn content/engagement and job boards. Appreciate the support!
