I am currently finishing up the initial feature set of me and my dad's damage report app for real estate, promeldung.
promeldung now consists of about 5 projects, including a help desk, the backoffice, API and the app.
I actively decided to pursue the project with all my energy once more (I founded lots of projects and learned a lot on my journey). I not only wanted to succeed for once and apply everything I learned over the years, but I also want to help my family, earn more financial freedom and make the world a better place where people can focus on what matters.
I have two questions for you:
Best,
Ha the last 20% takes 80% of the time. Unfortunately I can't offer any feedback as I don't speak German, but it looks good.
Made me chuckle, thanks for your reply! :-) I put it in quotes for that exact reason.
Honestly even just saying it looks good matters a lot for me and makes me proud. So thanks very much for that!
Hi Phillip, responses below:
Thanks so much for your effort and your response! :-) Genuinely happy about it!
Do you have a suggestion on what to improve or examples of pricing sections you totally dig?
I am a big fan of bootstrapping myself ( I do understand what you said as a tendency toward bootstrapping?). I think the effort is so worth it, you get a very special relationship to what you are building.
Keep on hacking and thanks again!
Looks intersting.
I guess it would be very helpful to add a picture to the damage report.
I too would rework the pricing, the font seems way to small to grasp the benefits.
I'd rethink the colors, gray, darker gray and a bright gray background. looks really boring to be honest.
I'm not completely sure how it's supposed to be used. My first intuition was that the people renting the flat would report the damage using the app, but I don't think that's how it works.
As an enduser I for sure wouldn't create an account to report something, but if you found a way to make it extremely easy and fast to use, maybe.
I know there a similar products for basically the same thing, but during construction, maybe you can get some ideas for features or something else from it.
I really like the clean and minimalist look of the app tho
Thanks for your reply! Great and detailed feedback :-)
Yep, I will work on the pricing section! I guess it didn't get the love it deserves.
The (web) application is aimed toward real estate management companies which maintain buildings for the actual owners. They invite users via the backoffice to the app where they can create damage reports 24/7.
To be honest the colours bother me as well from time to time, so this is sth that will probably change as soon as we can get traction and see that the whole thing works out :)
Thanks again for your very valuable feedback!
