We live in a golden age of retail trading tools. Ten years ago, we were trading on clunky broker terminals. Then came OptionStrat and TradingViews. Suddenly, we could visualize complex strategies in seconds. They democratized access to data that used to be exclusive to pros. I am a huge fan. I use them every day.
But as I traded more, I realized that visualization creates a new problem: Analysis Paralysis. When I drag the slider on a P&L chart, I see 50 different winning scenarios.
Should I buy the $100 strike?
Or the $105?
Maybe sell the $90 put?
The chart shows me what happens in each scenario, but it doesn’t tell me which one creates the best statistical edge for my specific view. I found myself spending 20 minutes tweaking sliders, only to pick a suboptimal trade because it ‘looked nice’ on the graph.”
I realized that institutional traders don’t drag sliders. They optimize for Greeks and Volatility. If they think ‘Vol is cheap, Price is going up’, they run an algorithm to find the structure with the highest Sharpe Ratio. I wanted that power. But I didn’t want to code Python scripts in a terminal every morning.
So, I built “OptionLab.ai”. It’s not here to replace your favorite visualizer. It’s here to handle the execution logic. Instead of picking strikes, you input your Intent (e.g., ‘Bullish on NVDA, limit risk to $500’). The engine runs thousands of permutations in the background — checking IV skew, liquidity, and Theta decay — to hand you the mathematically optimal strategy.

We are currently in the Beta phase. It’s rough around the edges, but the math is solid. If you are tired of guessing which strike to pick, come help us build the next generation of options tools.

From your demo website, it looks like a fancy way of suggesting option strategies through AI prompts (iron condor, butterfly, bull spread, etc.).
However, that alone isn’t enough to improve win rate, because every trader’s trading style is different.
Most options traders already know their win probability and maximum loss before entering a trade—that’s basic, entry-level knowledge.
Traders like me are lazy. Once a trade is done, I don’t even bother journaling.
What I really want is the ability to export my trade statements from Interactive Brokers (CSV or PDF), import them into your system, and have it parse my trading history, analyze my trading habits, and tell me where I can improve or which strategies I should consider instead.
If your system could do that, it would save me a lot of time and genuinely help me improve my trading skills.
In short, I don’t need a fancy AI to tell me to use a bull put spread or a jade lizard. I need a personalized coach that can review my past trade history and point out what I should improve.
Reviewing trade history or journaling every trade is tedious, but it’s essential to becoming an elite trader—just like in any profession, constant improvement requires a strong feedback loop.
There’s no product like this on the market right now, but I’m confident it would have very strong product–market-fit if you could pivot, harness the power of AI, and build something that does exactly this.
A personalized trading coach that tailors feedback loops to an individual’s trading style to improve win rate and overall profitability.
Hope this feedback is helpful.
