The limits of no-code?

I'm looking to create an online graphic design tool similar to Canva using Webflow, however, I'm worried that this would be past the capabilities of a no-code website.

Bear with me if I say something stupid, as I'm extremely new to all of this. I'm looking to create a website using Webflow that has a graphic design feature, where a logged-in user can input stylized text, clip art, shapes, stickers, and images onto a canvas. Is this possible to do using a no-code tool such as Webflow?

I know that using a stack of different tools can expand Webflow's capabilities, however I also know that tons of programming probably went into Canva's creation.

Has anyone else created something similar, or is this past the limit of what a no-code website can produce?

All input and advice is honestly and greatly appreciated,

Webflow might be very far from getting into a Canva clone. There's a lot of algorithms behind design tools. @twentyfourmillion

I'd suggest thinking of a business model where you can allow every existing users of design tools to use your product.

Would love to exchange opinions on #nocode and design. On twitter? Let's chat!

Hi! using webflow is not the best idea, but in general, you need to think about how you will compete with canva before making the product, but to validate this idea of landings + button to buy webflow is great.

From what I know something like this would be either A) impossible or B) extremely limited from a no-code perspective.

Regardless, I'm curious what you believe you could offer that isn't already available for free from the likes of Canva?

Hi! Thank you for the input. The idea is to target it towards the greeting card/ecard industry while providing special features in those areas along with allowing for collaboration.

Additionally, I'm not looking to create a full-featured graphic designer like Canva, maybe that was a bad example. I think a better example would be a more stylized version of the editor on Instagram/Snapchat. I wouldn't be monetizing usage, but the sending of cards in real life.

Well, I guess that means its time to dust off the old python and javascript :)
