I believe that The Lord of the Rings is a legendary work. The tales of Middle-earth chronicle the Great War for the Ring, a war that lasted for more than a thousand years. Whoever possessed the Ring was given power over all living creatures but was obliged to serve evil. After watching the first film in 2001, to this day, I have never seen anything better than this masterpiece. The most important thing you should know is that sixty years have passed since the hobbit Bilbo Baggins returned to the Shire. He turns a hundred and ten years old, but his appearance does not change at all. This leads the wizard Gandalf to a frightening thought: the magical Ring, stolen by Bilbo from Gollum, is, in fact, the Ring of Power.

It's a pity we won't see more films like that... even remember the Great War of the Ring
