This is intersting but I'm of the mindset that web2 platforms like Spotify can co-exist with Web3 music apps like some of the one's you mentioned above. Is that an assumption you agree with? One of the things that is both good and bad for web2 platforms like Spotify/SoundCloud/YouTube is that it's virtually free for people to listen to music. Bad news is artist's get paid horribly. But instead, they get clout. And clout in the music world is important.
yep there's definitely a world where the web2 and web3 music companies co-exist!
hopefully they actually compliment each other - providing scale (clout) and value (money) 🤞
