The only poster we need. Does it apply to your idea?

I saw it for the first time on a friend's office wall. Both the note itself and the fact my friend enlarged this thing from the internet, struck me as art. Posting on social media about it the post went viral shared by thousands including the author. Originally, the note was one of several similar that were written on White House stationery by DJ Patil, the US’s first Chief Data Scientist. It was included as one of several photos released from a meeting between Mr. Patil, President Obama and others in 2015. In March of 2019, I began a dialogue with Mr. Patil, sharing my idea to produce and sell the posters, and give part of the proceeds to charity. DJ [Patil] made it clear that although the note belonged to the people and I was free to do what I wanted, he’d have one request: regarding charity he would ask that I “do something that would’ve helped a younger you.” Last April I began selling the posters from my website with the offer that “every five posters sold, one will be given to someone free.” I like to identify those people through engagements on social media. Over the summer I began to guerrilla install framed versions of the poster around NYC, starting in my hometown Astoria, Queens. In July, I announced a number of posters would be available at famed NYC bookstore Printed
Matter and their online store.
