The power of Indie Hackers

So recently I made my first post on IndieHackers, this one. I've been following the site for a while, and it was here + Product Hunt + YCombinator + Some Newsletters that I started to become more and more interested in the maker culture. I've been wanting to start something for a long time now, and I've had a few past attempts. But in reality, most of the time I'm paralyzed with fear of starting something because of some bullshit, whatever it is.

In my first post that I mentioned, I talk about a fear I've been thinking about for a while, about starting to learn Web development, already being kind of a Python Developer, but focused on Data Engineering.

Very quickly I was very surprised to receive some very good answers with stories, tips and motivations helping me to enter this path, giving me logical reasons not to have the fear I was having. I really didn't expect anyone to use their time to write such well written and useful answers to help someone random, I think that must be the power of IndieHackers and other communities like that.

But then, my idea with this post is to show someone who has a problem that hasn't written here yet that it's worth writing, because someone will probably come up with some help. And, in case you're afraid to start learning something for some reason, I recommend reading the comments here, helped me a lot.

I liked the feeling of writing here and getting help from other people, so I'm going to start writing a little bit of my journey learning about web dev, and anything else I'm currently learning, I hope to at least do a weekly update post. I will try to be more active here to try to help someone and get more tips from other people. Later this year I intend to be building something in public around here.
