The problem: making one good startup video used to cost me 5 days and $70

Sharing this as a validated problem, not a pitch, curious if others hit the same wall.

Every solo founder eventually needs a video: an explainer, a demo, something to send instead of a wall of text. I went through this myself and it took 5 days and about $70 stitching together Gemini, ElevenLabs, Veo, and CapCut by hand. Every handoff between tools introduced drift: voice didn't match, visual style shifted scene to scene, re-exporting to patch it.

What validated it as a real problem for me: I put something out there and a stranger found it through search and paid for a video with zero involvement from me. Not a huge number, but the first time someone who didn't know me decided it was worth money.

Curious how others here have solved (or avoided) the video problem for their own product. Recorded it yourself and lived with mediocre? Paid an agency? Skipped video entirely and regretted it? Trying to understand how big this pain actually is outside my own head.

Five days and $70 gives you a concrete baseline. The product should prove which part of that cycle it removes and whether the result is publishable without hidden rework. I would price against completed videos and time-to-publish, not the number of AI features.
