The product isn't ready yet, but I thought why not start selling it first

I would like to get feedback on the landing page and the idea in general.

The landing page makes me think Dropbox for data structures (vs. files).

In case that's helpful to you.

  2. 2

It quite contradictory wording, and tries to cover too many things at once.
When describing the product, do not explain what its effects are, but literally say what it does - then each user will project that into their own benefit/value that they may be getting, so you don't have to.

I think one simple flowgraph showing the pipeline how data gets in, gets transformed and gets output would be better than a lot of words and one very cryptic, too specific, non-valuable example.

A lot of words and sentences on the page don't mean anything: "Built for Content Creators" ("Content Creators" may not mean what you think it means and not in the way you used it), "Neuledge gives you the power to structure your data any way you want.", "Predictable Data Structures", "Accessible Data Center"/"Collaborative Database" although the first sentence on the whole page starts with "A private...", also "knowledge base for your data" (??), "share it easily with any type of user" (??).

There are a lot of points that made me scratch my head.

I was personally fiddling in my head with a similar idea (although different) for some time, so I managed to recognize the points of what you were trying to say and connect a few dots, but IMO, the page content needs a complete revamp.

      Thanks for your great feedback!

I made a few changes addressing the issues you meant. I hope I described the product better now.

What is one problem people have which is not solved by current products that Neuledge solves?

Neuledge gives you the power to validate your data into a strict and reusable structure.

That is a weird use of the word validate and doesn't make sense to me. Also, you're kind of flying in the face of database evolution because the main marketing point of a lot of NoSQL databases is that they are heading away from strict because strict = inflexible.

    1. 1

Maybe this sentence is more accurate:
"Neuledge gives you the power to reshape your data in any structure you want."

Any shape you will structure it will be strict and safe, so you can apply some transformations on it, but it doesn't limits you. You can adjust and build new shapes in seconds.

The main goal is to have a database that's simple enough for non-programmers to use, but strict enough so you can relay on and build some services on it. Current solutions are either too loose (AirTable) or narrow (Contentful).

  4. 1

Yes, not sure what this is meant to do.
I have data in a database. I can easily export that in any format I want.
    Can you explain more?

Does it connect disperse datasets that I may own but do not have access to? Like Hubspot data, etc?

    1. 1

It's basically to manage the data you already own using non-coding tools. Imagine you have a mobile app, with Neuledge you can create a few API endpoints for your development team without writing a single line of code.

It's like firebase, but from the CMS perspective and for non-programmers. A merge between Contentful and Airtable.

  5. 1

It is not quite clear for who is your project. Is it targeted to developers? Or managers? Or scientists? Is is mainly for storing tabular data, or any format like the Lotus document management system.

The text seems to use a lot of technical jargon, which might be not so understandable for less techy people.

    1. 1

The project is for developers, business owners, data analysts, product managers and basically anyone who needs to manage large amounts of data or dynamic data.

Can you mention a few examples for the "technical jargon" you referring? Maybe I can simplify it.
