The quest for 1k users

Hey IH,

I launched Yarn (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/yarn-spin-your-tale/id1588585408) a few weeks back after two months of closed beta gathering feedback from friends. Elevator pitch: yarn is a place for friends to collaborate in shared photo/video stories.

I scored my first 100 users pretty easily and without spending $1. Just blasted the app out to family and friends and let the spread handle itself. Things plateau'd viciously at 100 users and now I am lucky to get 2 new users in a day. Again, not doing any paid marketing yet. I just found a Tik Tok influencer who I am going to pay for a posting - she has 373k followers and I am STOKED to see how things pan out with her promoting the app. I will definitely follow up with analytics!

Any growth hacks people may have for apps are welcome! I am very new to this.
