The Question That Changed How We Build MVPs

During a user call last week, someone asked us:
“If you had to cut your product down to one feature, which would it be?”

At first, it felt like a trick question. But the more we thought about it, the more it clarified everything.

That single question forced us to identify the true core of our product. Everything else suddenly felt optional.

The insight? MVPs aren’t about what you add, they’re about what you’re willing to leave out.

Now we use this as a filter before building anything new.

Curious, if you applied this question to your own product, what would be the one feature you’d keep?
