I was searching for some stock images for my client's web project. I was on India's largest stock photography website. There was a chat box on the website. I clicked on the chat box to convey my image requirements as the search results didn't provide me what I was thinking of.

The support team was actually online on chat, a very rare scene. I was impressed. I told the team about the concept of image I was looking for and in a minute they messaged me a link to an amazing stock piece. I was quite curious & then clicked on the 'powered by ...' at the bottom of the chatbox and boom.

There came the Revenue Model that Actually Disrupted the Multi Billion Dollar Competition like Zendesk and Facebook.

The chat service that the company was using were:
- not first to market, Zendesk already captured the pie.
- not VC funded, 100% independent.
- not based in Silicon Valley.
- their competitors were multi-billion dollar, publicly traded companies like
Facebook and Zoho.

But still they are the #1 most widely used live chat application in the world, they've already captured 20+% of the market, also the fastest growing company in the space and 1.7+ Billion people interact with their chat widget each and every month — that’s 1 in every 3 people online.

Keeping in mind the fact that - they have never done a single press interview, never published a press release, spend almost nothing on advertising and you will never see them speaking at public events or conferences. That's the reason you will ALMOST NEVER find them on large company's websites.

Now I'll stop and I'll Introduce you to the master who disrupted the entire B2C chat space and still continue to silently dominate the market. Still, no Ads. Almost zero marketing campaigns. 99% word-of-mouth.
